Re: Dec's Corrado
Can you tell us what hardware changes you made to your board.
Did you re-jumper everything to work with the VR cct and not the optical circuit?
What about software changes etc, offset angle you set for the wasted spark ?
What ange did you mount it at in respect to TDC?
Got any pics of the trigger wheel install, just out of curiosity?

Yup. Set all the jumpers on the board. Cant remember the angle I set the trigger wheel at offhand. But I reckon I have one problem to sort with the wiring for the vr sensor that wont have helped matters! anyway!

Re: Dec's Corrado
Is that a 60-2 toothed wheel? You didn't use that stuff I sold you in the end then? To be fair that does look like a good bit of kit
That really isn't a good look for me is it

Re: Dec's Corrado
Yup, it's a 60-2 wheel.
I had your bits all lined up to fit, and had adapted the ht leads to fit the coilpack. But then needed to come up with a blanking plate for where the dizzy used to sit, and a new mounting for the coilpack, and to sort out welding the trigger wheel to the pulley etc.
Found that full 'plug & play' kit and figured it would probably be easier (but a lot more expensive)
Gave the kit I got off you to a mate of mine who is collecting parts for some sort of 'secret' engine build!

Re: Dec's Corrado
Sorry not been in contact guys!.....Was working all hours finishing off a project in work!
I'm about next w'end if either of you are? (was supposed to be watching the rugby on Sat, but not a big deal to give it a miss). Stu, I could give you a lift if you are stuck for a car?
Or could do the first w'end in March?
Where things stand with the car.......well I got a decent rpm signal from the trigger wheel. But only got an ignition pulse out through one of the coil drivers. So..pulled the MS out and tested it with various new coil drivers but couldn't get two drivers to work together. When I swapped them over, both would work independently though...so I guess it must be a software/set-up issue rather than an actual fault component fault?

Re: Dec's Corrado
I'm still up for next week.
I'd look forward to it.
I don't like to do much on Sundays espcially as your quite a drive away.So Saturday would be ideal.
Let me know.

Re: Dec's Corrado
Carleena needs the car on Saturday, so if you can pick me up Dec, that would be cool and the gang.

Re: Dec's Corrado
No problemo guys!
Yup I can come get you on Sat Stu......just let me know what sort of time you'd like!?
I'll take another look at the MS and give you guys a bit more info before Saturday. I have a set of four new/spare coil drivers if that does turn out to be the problem though.
