Yup I can come get you on Sat Stu......just let me know what sort of time you'd like!?

I'll take another look at the MS and give you guys a bit more info before Saturday. I have a set of four new/spare coil drivers if that does turn out to be the problem though.

Cool. Well, I reckon as early as possible, so we can get a full day on it.

I'll bring my injectors with me too

Firstly...a big thanks to Rob & Stu for calling over and spending the whole day working on the car (again!) Cool

Stu...we sorted out that mysterious Fuel pump relay buzz....turned out to be the constant supply for the MS relay board was disconnected at the battery at some point and was grounding out!

Solved that problem and then found out that after our playing around with the injector wiring....all four injectors were wired backwards....que more awkward fiddling with wires in the relay board.

Though we were getting somewhere then! Engine was turning over nice and quickly on one of the big Varta batteries......Went to start it and got an immediate loud bang through the exhaust...large electrical flash on the MS board and a buff of smoke. Bang head

Turns out the VB921 driver had shorted out on the back of the MS metal case. It fried the stepper motor output track we were using for the VB921 output. But we just bypassed the fried track by using one of the other four stepper motor outputs.

Then unfort didn't get much further.....batteries were all pretty knackered at that stage.

Rob has kindly offered to test my MS board on his car to see if that's the problem,

Well, I'm glad more progress was made after I left, all be it two steps forward and one step back.

I'm free on the 27th March for another session if that suits?
