Nicely done.I saw this a couple of years ago at edition 38 with a stock bay.
Because of the amount of work thats gone into the rest of the car i guess you needed to go this way with the bay aswell to make it complete.
A potential show winner me'thinks.

Personally I can't wait to see the FI action tho. Smile

Thanks for the compliment, Im not really bothered about winning shows etc (not interested in being part of the "scene") I just like the look of smoothed bays and I wanted to learn painting, so i looked at it as a challenge for myself.

I cant wait for the turbo to be on either Twisted Evil

Neither can I! lol

Looks stunning in the pics Graham, the bay looks ultra smooth. 'Sensible' popped over this week with Mic, and showed me some of the 'work in progress' pics that he had of your VR. Needless to say, what a massive amount of work you did in the 4 weeks before Ultimate Dubs Shocked Shocked Good work

Oh, one thing I was gonna ask, did you use the Polo electric heater-box in the end?

Well after a long time away, Im back!

My Corrados been on the back burner for a long time now, but Ive managed to get some work done on it recently.

Unfortunately the OBD2 setup I bought had far to many issues to sort out so I ripped it out and put OBD1 back on. It now runs fine and I will be making some progress on it over the coming months.

LOL

Holset wh1e
4" inlet
3"outlet
Internal wastegate (part of the reason it looks so big)
hot side is 1.02 ar

Its huge but from what ive read up on them they seem to spool quite well (better than garret's aparently)
Ill try it, if its no good Ill get something else Smile
Oh and it was £270 brand new so i doubt Ill lose money on it
